Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms

By creating an account on PG Manager ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2. What PG Manager is

PG Manager is a subscription software platform that helps paying-guest and hostel owners manage properties, rooms, tenants, and rent collection records. It is a record-keeping tool — it does not collect rent on your behalf, hold your tenants' money, or act as a party to your rental agreements.

3. Accounts

• You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
• You must be legally able to enter into contracts in India to use the Service.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• New accounts start on a 14-day free trial with full feature access. No card is required to start a trial.
• After the trial, your account moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe to a paid plan.
• Paid plans (Growth, Pro, Scale) are billed monthly in advance via Razorpay and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from your billing page; you keep access until the end of your current billing period.
• Prices may change with notice; continued use after a price change means you accept the new price.

5. Your data and content

You retain ownership of the property and tenant data you enter into the Service. You are solely responsible for:

• The accuracy of the information you enter
• Obtaining any consent required from your tenants to store their personal information (including ID proof details) on the platform
• Complying with applicable law in how you collect and use tenant data

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our systems
• Reverse engineer, resell, or white-label the Service without our written permission
• Upload data you don't have the right to store

7. Service availability

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, and features may change as the product evolves.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, PG Manager is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of revenue or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or engage in abusive behaviour toward the Service or other users.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
